The Orlando Magic will be the first to choose in the NBA draft this year. The Wagner brothers’ team could go to a big man.
Last year, the Orlando Magic were allowed to pull the fifth and eighth pick twice in the lottery, now they have pulled the main prize: In this year-this NBA draft, the Franchise from Florida is the first to select a young talent.
The Magic should probably go on a big men: players like Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga) or Paolo Banchero (Duke) and Forward Jabari Smith Jr. (Auburn) stand out of the upcoming draft class. With Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner, the Magic pulled a combo guard and winger with ball handling skills last year.
As a team with the two-worst record of the league, the Magic, together with the Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons, each had an opportunity of 14 percent to get the first draft pick. However, the pistons will only be allowed to pull in fifth place. After the Magic, the Oklahoma City Thuner will choose a talent, followed by the Rockets and Sacramento Kings.
The Magic received the first draft pick for the fourth time. In 1992 the Franchise Shaquille O’Neal moved first, a year later Chris Webber – whom Magic Traden for Penny Hardaway. And in 2004 the Magic Dwight Howard made the first draft pick.
